Although we have made every effort to ensure this unit will be compatible with the listed vehicles, please check the year, dimensions and shape of the centre console of your vehicle before purchasing.
Cables You May Need:
1. Please check your vehicle’s power port to see if it is the same as shown – if so, you will need a power cable, an optical decoder, a radio antenna and an antenna adapter to aid the installation.
(XTRONS AK/PSP90M211/PWRC, AK/PF7M211A/FOBB01 and EC/ARL/RANT01 are compatible.)
2. Please be advised if your E-class is between 2003-2008 and it has a COMAND APS NTG 1 system, you will need an extra optical decoder box from XTRONS to retain your car’s original COMAND system.
(XTRONS FOBB01 is compatible) – Not Included
3. Please be advised if your E-class is between 2008-2009 and it has a COMAND APS NTG 2 & 2.5 system, you will need an extra optical decoder box from XTRONS to retain your car’s original COMAND system.
(XTRONS FOBB03 is compatible) – Not Included
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Please ensure your car’s central console is trapezoidal in shape, with a trim strip above before purchasing, or this unit will NOT fit your car. If it is a trapezoidal central console without the trim strip above, please refer to XTRONS IAP92M209S.
- Please check your vehicle’s center console to see whether there is a screen above the center console.If there is, please buy the XTRONS QLM2240M12EL (forleft-hand driving vehicle) or QLM2240M12ER (for right-hand driving vehicle).
- Please note your CD changer will NOT work after installing this unit.
- This unit does NOT support your vehicle’s air conditioning information.
- Please note your original motorised compartment will NOT work after installing this unit.
- For Japanese-manufactured vehicles, this unit is not Plug and Play. Additional cable modification is required, which should be carried out by a professional installer.
- If your vehicle has a 40-pin connector, verify the pin alignment before installation. If they don’t match, please contact customer service.
